excellent food, big portions and good service !!! helped us understand the fish (sea bass) portion and the food overall was amazing. would definitely go there again to try more of their food since their menu was so big with many different types of options - meat, fish, seafood and even vegetarian options.

Beach, Bites, and Breathtaking Views Restinga provided the perfect post-beach pick-me-up for our group of four. Situated right on the beach with stunning ocean views, it was an idyllic spot to cool down after a day of fun in the sun. The staff was quick and friendly, immediately making us feel welcome despite our sandy state. We opted for their cheese board, which turned out to be the ideal afternoon snack while we soaked in the beautiful scenery. It featured a delicious selection of three different cheeses, accompanied by fresh bread and olives. It was the perfect way to share a light bite and cool down together, all while enjoying the breathtaking ocean views. For those seeking a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to unwind after a beach day, Restinga is a fantastic option. The friendly service, tasty cheese board, and stunning location left us feeling refreshed and ready for our next Algarve adventure.

My family and I had such an amazing sunset dinner here. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredible and the view was picturesque. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and it only gets better. 100% recommend.

Great place right on the Alvor Beach. Menu has a lot of choices. Was very busy when we went for lunch, reservations I would recommend. The cover appetizer was good, the pate was unique to them and delicious. We had the fresh fish, which was delicious and came with a choice of sides. A little higher in price than other local places. Also, they sacrificed a few details to move tables along, but the food outweighs that for me. Some of those details were that we ordered fresh fish and they did not bring the fish to us before it was cooked or offered to debone it. Would go back again for dinner.

I have just returned to this restaurant today - it’s been 20years since I was here and it was excellent then! We have just finished our lunch of seafood rice which was absolutely divine! Worth every penny - the fish stock base and more than ample seafood within the dish made it one of the best lunches we’ve had in some time. Compliments to the chef!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The best restaurant we have visited, during our trip. The food is top class, and the owner and staff were amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves good quality food. Thanks for making my birthday special.

Very good food made with very good raw materials.... we had oysters (from Alvor of course) and shrimps with pasta, both dishes top nodge. Yes, prices are high but you have to pay for quality. If price is your first priority when you're out eating, go somewhere else. I recommend this place.
